Dental Bridge is used to straddle or bridge a gap (missing tooth) between healthy teeth. The teeth on each side of the empty space is transformed and reduced in size. These two formed teeth therefore act as anchors, or abutments. The dental bridge is connected to the living, health teeth & fills the missing tooth space. If you’ve one or more adjacent teeth, then use the dental bridge crowns as they offers translucency of a natural tooth and a permanent restoration with functional and aesthetic looking teeth.

Overview of Dental Bridge

Definition: A dental bridge, aka a regular part prosthesis is a dental restoration used to replace a missing tooth or teeth by joining permanently to adjacent teeth or implants. There are different types of dental bridge, depending on how they’re constructed & how they anchor to the adjacent teeth. Conventional dental bridge is made with out-of-mouth method of restoration, but they can be produced directly in the mouth with composite.

Dental Bridge Procedure

A dental bridge is constructed by reducing the teeth on both sides of the missing tooth or teeth by a preparation pattern determined by the location of teeth and by the material that the dental bridge is constructed from.
